    Non-Diploma Information Form

    This form is useful for students with IEP diplomas, correspondence diplomas, non-graduates, homeschooled students and those who graduated from a non-registered school (as determined by the state you resided in while in high school), as well as students who don’t already have a college degree or who haven’t successfully completed 6 college credits or more before July 1, 2012.

    To Graduate from MCC

    You must show evidence of passing scores on five Regents exams (Regents-TASC)

    OR
    You must show evidence of successfully completing the TASC test

    OR
    You must meet the 24 credit hour distribution requirement:

    • 6 credit hours in English language arts including writing, speech and/or literature
    • 3 credit hours in mathematics
    • 3 credit hours in natural science
    • 3 credit hours in social science
    • 3 credit hours in humanities
    • 6 credit hours in any credit-bearing course applicable for college degree program requirements

    OR
    If you were homeschooled or received a diploma from a school that isn’t registered by the state (and you graduated from that school while residing in that state), you would need to provide Admissions with a letter from a Superintendent saying that your diploma is substantially equivalent to those graduating from their district.

    You may be eligible for MCC's Pathways to College program. This program provides funding to students who do not have a recognized high school diploma. To be considered, please email Pathways to MCC (pathwaystomcc@monroecc.edu).

    If you obtain your High School Equivalency Diploma, you will be eligible, upon completion of degree requirements, to graduate from MCC. You may be able to receive federal and/or state aid if you are financially and academically eligible.
